ok, there's a tinitus institute and a website, a newsletter, but i dont have
the url to hand - i think they're based in san fran and came out of
what was happening to rock musicians and metalheads,
but it's basically about educating musicians, esp amplified ones
about taking care of their ears so they dont lose their hearing.
cant tell you how many gigs i've been to where the sound man at the
mixing board had ear plugs in to hear better....
